Learning

Hi there! I am Raffaello and I am planning on becoming a Full-Stack Dev in 2022. A bit of background about me, I tried to learn Web Dev multiple times. But, I always ended up abandoning (Because I couldn't manage my time properly, I got stuck in tutorial hell, lost my motivation, didn't have a clear plan or goals, etc). This time, I have decided to put all the chances on my side and challenge myself not only to learn Web Development but to do it in public. I will be documenting my journey on my Twitter (@RaffaLearns) and I will list the resources I am using, and the notes I made in this blog.

Motivation

We live in the information era, an era where machines can do in few minutes what would take humans days. The value of people who can build and program these machines is HUGE. On the other hand, the internet is full of resources to learn new technologies. Technologies that will enable you to build projects that has almost unlimited reach. Technologies that businesses demand and that you can offer from your bedroom.

The web is full of success stories. Thousands of people have changed their lives within few months. This inspired me to start this journey and share it to the public.

Front-end

I will start by learning Front-end Development. Front-end Dev. is about developing what the user sees and interacts with in the broswer. The challenge of the Front-End developer is to create visually appealing, lightweight, simple to use and most importantly responsive (works well on different screen sizes and devices) apps. (more about it here).

It is very important to follow a roadmap in your learning, this will avoid you wasting time and energy looking what you should learn and when. There is multiple roadmaps and study plans available online. I have decided to stick to the one proposed at roadmap.sh.
